Call for articles’ submission for December 2018’s issue of the PJPH

The Pakistan Journal of Public Health (PJPH) is a peer reviewed national journal published quarterly by the Health Services Academy (HSA), Islamabad, Pakistan. Pak J Public Health has increased print circulation as well as opened access to an e-issue on website www.pjph.org.

PJPH is listed on the PakMediNet website (http://www.pakmedinet.com/PJPH), the most comprehensive listing and database of medical, health sciences and social sciences journals.

PJPH is  indexed in Index Medicus of the Eastern Mediterranean Office of the World Health Organization (IMEMR), EMBASE, SCOPUS, EBSCO, CABI and HINARI.Recently it has also been indexed by the CROSSREF, and will be having its own DOI. The journal is  recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. 

The PJPH is a forum for the promotion, presentation and propagation of new initiatives and innovative research to strengthen Evidence-base in Public health. This will lead to evidence based and innovative policies, strategies and eventually improve public health services. In view of recent resurgence in vector borne diseases of public health significance such as Dengue, Malaria, Leishmaniasis, Zika, Chukungunya and other arboviruses, the PJPH will also publish articles on these subjects. Topics around Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 3) will also be of interest.

You may submit original research papers/reviews/commentaries for the December 2018 issue of the journal. The instructions for authors and a declaration must accompany the submissions which are available at HSA journal page  www.pjph.org (https://www.pjph.org/index.php/pjph/information/authors).

Last date for receiving submission is October 15, 2018.
