College of Family Medicine Pakistan is an organization of Family Doctors / General Practitioners in Pakistan. On 1st January 1974 College of Family Medicine Pakistan become a Foundation Direct Member of the World Organization of National Colleges Academies and Academic Associations of General Practitioners / Family Physician i.e. (WONCA).

At present the College chapters are at:-

  1. Peshawar Established in 1976
  2. Lahore Established in 1978
  3. Hyderabad Established in 1992
  4. Matli Established in 1996
  5. Rawalpindi / Islamabad Established in 2006 (under revival)

  6. Pain Management short course

We want to empower our family physicians to enhance the research capacity of our family physicians, therefore we have launched:

  1. Institutional Review Board
  2. Research capacity building training for our doctors
We can coordinate relevant advisory and management services for:

  1. Physicians for outreach clinics
  2. Support and Management in diseases outbreaks, Disasters
  3. Support interventions for vulnerable groups/ community/populations.
  4. Public awareness campaigns
  5. Baseline research in primary care
